Tarek Tantawy Co-CEO & Managing Director Tarek Tantawy is Palm Hills Developments’ Co-CEO & Managing Director since mid-2021. During his career, he has successfully led companies to sales growth, business expansion, operational efficiency, and significant profitability. Tantawy combines experience and expertise to meet challenges through a proven track record of operational leadership, strategy development, team building, financial management, as well as relationship management. Prior to joining Palm Hills Developments in June 2021, Tantawy held several senior roles in leading Egyptian companies, including CO-CEO and Managing Director of CI Capital and CEO and Managing Director of Telecom Egypt, Vice President and CFO of Telecom Egypt, CFO of IDJ-Beyti (a JV of Almarai & Pepsico), Vice President of the Investment Banking division at Sigma Capital, and Senior Consultant in the Corporate Finance division at FinRate Consulting. Tantawy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School in the United Kingdom, and is a CFA charter holder. He attended executive education programs in Kellogg Graduate School of Management in the United States and IESA Business School in Spain.
